CIYC has partnered with our neighbors and friends at Tween Waters Resort on a new boat rental program. The “Beach Bums” boat rental group will provide CIYC members with priority scheduling and a 5% year-round discount on all their fleet of power boats. The boats range from 19’ Palm Beach, center consoles that accommodates 4 passengers, to 24’ Chaparral Deck boats for up to 12 passengers. Just show them your CIYC membership card and take a lunch cruise to Useppa, Cabbage Key or Cayo Costa or for a fishing trip to your favorite fishing hole. Rentals come with FREE use of Beach Chairs and umbrellas, ice and bottled water. Also available are rod rentals and live bait sales. Rental Boats Available:

  • 19’ Palm Beach center consoles powered by 115HP Yamaha 4-strokes. They are all equipped w/VHF radios, safety gear, anchors, live wells, and coolers. We have some with canopy tops and some with T-tops. These boats can accommodate up to 4 adults or up to 6 if it is a mixture or kids and adults.
  • 23’ Palm Beach center console powered by a 200 HP Yamaha HPDI. The 23’ center is equipped w/ all safety gear, anchors, a live well and cooler. This boat can accommodate up to 8 passengers.
  • 23’ Cobia Deck Boat powered by a 150HP Yamaha 4-stroke. This boat can accommodate up to 10 passengers.
  • 24’ Chapparral Deck Boat powered by a 150 HP Yamaha 4-stroke. This boat can accommodate up to 12 passengers.
  • 25’ Cobia Deck Boat powered by a 200HP Yamaha 4-stroke.
  • All Deck boats are equipped with VHF radios, all safety gear, anchors, swim ladders, coolers. All Deck Boats have canopy tops. This year we are adding marine stereos with input connections for GPS and i-Pods to all of the deck boats.
  • The Santiva Saltwater Fishing Team will extend to our members a discounted rate for all guided trips booked directly through them. Reservations are always required.   • CIYC member will receive $25.00 off half day fishing trips. Fishing trips are limited to 4 passengers. Captains will provide bait, tackle, fishing license, and cooler with ice for customers.
  • For other guided trips, CIYC member will receive 10% off discounts for guided trips, valid from October 1, 2011 until February 28, 2012 excluding Thanksgiving week (11/20/11- 11/28/11), Christmas week and New Years week (12/23/11- 1/8/12).

Additional points:

  1. Reservations are not necessary, but are recommended for all boat rentals, especially during busy times like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the months of March and April. We recommend reserving one week in advance to insure members are able to get the boat and day they want.
  2. RESERVATIONS ARE ALWAYS REQUIRED FOR GUIDED TRIPS. Again, we recommend reserving at least one week in advance.
  3. Guided fishing trips are for 4 people or less.
  4. Guided boat trips are limited to 6 passengers by the USCG. This includes babies and young children.
  5. Rental boats are available for groups up to 12.
  6. Fuel charges are additional for rentals.
  7. Guides DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS (cash or check only).
  8. Members must have their Captiva Island Yacht Club Membership
