Our members enjoy casual and fine dining, cruising, and many social activities throughout the year. We are a friendly, hospitable club, and both members and guests enjoy the casual, welcoming atmosphere.Membership Privileges
CIYC belongs to the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs. We are only one of two clubs in the FCYC with beach frontage. Our reciprocity with 35 clubs throughout Florida and with over 700 clubs throughout the United States as part of the Yachting Club of America, means that our members can enjoy prestigious Yacht Clubs in many places where they travel.
Upscale casual dining is available in our newly renovated club house as well as on the Commodores’ Porch with views of the bay and the Flag Deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico with beautiful sunset views.
As a member, you can host or sponsor outside events at the Club. CIYC is known for lovely beach weddings and clubhouse receptions.
Our active cruising schedule of both luncheon cruises and extended overnight cruises is for everyone. Members without boats are always welcome to participate by contacting the fleet captains.
We are a beach club as well, providing parking, outdoor accessible restrooms, beach chairs, umbrellas and the advantage of being able to call in a food order to be enjoyed on our outdoor porches or at the beach. Our bay frontage is ideal for kayaking the intriguing mangrove canals of Buck Key or paddle boarding the scenic Roosevelt Channel. Members have the free use of club kayaks and paddleboards.
